I am dismayed to have to write this letter. I have been a loyal customer of Ralphs Supermarket for the last twenty years.

My family consists of five individuals with varying diets; one individual is Kosher, two are vegetarians, and two have normal diets. These diets require me making frequent trips to the grocer, at least three times weekly. On August 8th, 2017 at around 4:15 I made one such trip. Usually I utilize your Click List service from the Ralphs on Burbank Boulevard.

However, as I now live in Valley Village and needed some kosher products, I went to the Ralphs on Magnolia. As I was shopping when I realize that I had been targeted and was being stalked. The man that targeted me went up to my cart when my back was turned away from it. He tried to run off without me seeing him, but he bumped into a display and knocked it over, which made his actions stand out because there was more space for him to walk around instead of going to my cart, I wondered why he didnt walk where there was more space instead of between my cart and the display.

I asked if he was ok. I subsequently saw him following me in several other isles. When I was finished shopping I went to the checkout counter and he pursued me. He stood waiting at the end of the checkout line where I was about to pay.

I took out my phone and started recording. I asked him why he was following me. He replied that he was not. When he realized I was recording him, he called out to the manager, her name was Holly.

She came over and proceeded to lecture me. She told me in an angry tone that there were laws about taping people. I explained to her what had transpired; she did not care at all. She was rude and disrespectful until she realized that the white man next to me was my company.

Then and only then did she show any modicum of respect. Subsequent to bantering for a while, she walked over to a man, they hugged and laughed. I had to bag the groceries because for some reason, none of the baggers were at the checkout counter where we were. One of the baggers came over a little later and asked if I wanted her to bag for me.

When Holly was finish catching up with her friends, she came over with a big smirk on her face and asked If I wanted her to bag for me. As we exited the store, the cart set the buzzer off. I realized that the man stalking me had placed something on the cart to trigger the buzzer. I purchased produce, meats, milk, and can products, none of these items have sensor activators.

I have yet to see an activator on lettuce, milk, or can goods. He placed something on my cart.

If you go to Ralphs, be sure to have your phone out recording them. They are looking for q law suit.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Weird story, to say the least. I wouldn't feel safe shopping there.
