Lousy customer service
I received my ralphs coupons in the mail. I had a free item which apparently you do not carry at this store on Colima and whittier blvd.
This is the third time I have asked for this item before it expires and all they say is you need to come back when there's a manager here. Then they get on the phone to let the manager know to expect me. They employees really hate their job here.
They are always in a terrible mood. I think I will do my shopping elsewhere and also encourage my family and neighbors to do so also.

The Ralphs on Obama and La Brea in Los Angeles is HORRIBLE! The shelves are never fully stocked.
I was told today that customers had to get their own basket because they didn't have anyone to get them! This is not acceptable.
Why in the white neighborhoods the shelves are always fully stocked, the stores are maintained and kept up, however in the inner city the stores are not cleaned properly, no shopping carts or hand held baskets. The Cashier always asks if you've found everything you need and the answer is always no and when you ask them do they have particular products the response is oh yeah we are out of that.
This is disheartening. .

I visited Ralph's store95 ..2230 s Atlantic bl monterey pk ca 91754 on Sun 4/28/24...oafternoon..shopping cart..handle.was filthy..so I wanted to wash my hands..restroom saud out of order..I asked a young employee he said he couldnt oprn but called manager to help me...while I was waiting..an employee dressed white from meat dept..yelled at me..using his arms towards me ..extremely rude manner in front of other customers...just because I wanted to talk to a manager..I had not approached him..did not ask for his help..( ATTN TO RALPHS TOP..MANAGEMENT...FYI..I SPEND A LOT OF MONEY AT RALPHS FOR ME FOR MY FAMILY FOR OUR CORPORATE EMPLOYEES...AND I DONT NEED THIS KIND OF DISRESPECT...FROM THAT MEAT DEPT.EMPLOYEE..THUS RALPHS IS HISTORY FOR US)..then the manager came and we talked briefly and I left

Harassment and Inappropriate touching by a drunk security guard(older,glasses)extremely aggressive and drunk. Touched me inappropriately and in a disgusting way with the justification that theyre about to close (it was still 15min before closing and was already shopping!).
Have everything documented and going to sue. The drunk, mentally erratic, physically aggressive guy was working Sat night at the Venice/La Brea location. This guy needs to be fired immediately, arrested for physical aggression and being drunk while working. Also the manager of store needs to be investigated for allowing this happen under his shift.
The store keeps locking doors to customer 30min before closing and Ralphs franchise losing a lot of money due to managers shady practices and aggressive drunk security guard who is touching women inappropriately.
Getting a lawyer to sue for this absolutely unacceptable, repulsive behavior by a mentally unstable, horrific smelling, extremely aggressive, highly inappropriate drunk employee. Never experienced this type of behavior in my entire life!
User's recommendation: Report store employee at this store, who physically attacks you et al. with the “justification” that they are closing in 15min, immediately to the police and sue for the illegal, physical and violation of their job and violation of the law
The app and digital coupons never work.
Ralphs app and digital coupons never work. Its such a scam. Why not automatically give Ralphs customers the coupon discount?!
Terrible service
Ralph's in Sherman Oaks is crap. They treat customers like junk.
Avoid this store , no matter what.
Nobody cares about the customer, here. It's the employees and managers behavior : they're evil.

Poor customer service - prices at products different then register
Ralphs is the worst on what is the real price you will be paying for a product. There is the real price, the instant savings, savings with coupons, the Ralphs card savings, and the digital savings.
On Sundays (the day I shop), there is no one to check you out. You must go through the self checkout. The self checkout does not let you know what discounts you will get on your item until you pay. There have been numerous instances in what is listed as the price when shopping is not what is charged at the register.
Each time this happens, you have to prove that Ralphs is wrong. I have complained to the Los Angeles Weights and Measures because this is something that Ralphs should be fined. If you are going to have 6 different price points, then your register better have the right information. Today (2/18) there were mischarges are produce.
Since I did not discover the error until I had paid, I was still expected to walk back to the produce department and prove that the price listed and price charged at the register is wrong. I have already reduced what I purchased at Ralphs to the bare minimum. But the frustration is not worth even the few items I purchase.
And now there is not even a good way to complain to their management. I would rate less than 1 if I could.

The store on G Street in San Diego needs a lot of attention. Main doors closed at night for some unknown reason, despite store still being open for hours, forcing customers to walk up and down a steep parking lot ramp to enter and exit the store.
Night shift supervisor Michelle is rude, arrogant, not smart and incompetent. Prices are way too high and out of control. Face detection of "selected" customers criminalizes the innocent shoppers and has extra surveillance on them for no good reason. Some dangerous homeless people camp out by the store.
I have encountered several expired products still on the shelf for sale.
Unfriendly place in general. Corporate management needs to investigate what is going on there and make necessary changes immediately, especially night shift supervisor.

Fuel points not on my recent receipt
Did not receive fuel points on my receipt. I put in my phone number but fuel points did not appear on my receipt.

First and foremost, Ralphs has stooped to a low-level, deceptive tactic of putting a low price in BIG numbers on their in-store sign - only to find out - when you read the small print on it, which please do - that you get the low price only if you buy 3 or more, use your Ralphs shoppers card, and/or a digital coupon, for example. Haagen-Dazs for $2.99 in big numbers, only that's when you have to do these other things, listed in tiny print, to get it.
Otherwise, it's $4.99 or higher each. Very tricky, slick and deceptive even if maybe not illegal. Maybe they figure that once you realize you were hornswaggled that you won't return the item or put it back, you would just pay the full price for it while there. Do not do this - file complaints with the BBB and attorney general for unfair and deceptive practices.
The small-print requirement at purchase should at least be as large as the price on the sign. There is also less in the packages now - always read the net weight and remember what it was so you know when they reduced it again. Same with the pricing which seems to go up daily. I used to shop at Ralphs a lot, now I don't and when I do, it's only the real deals.
Grocery Outlet has got most of my business - they are fair and not deceptive. In fact, they often cite Ralphs inflated prices as being the price that "elsewhere" charges to make their prices look better! Ralphs also does not open most self-checkouts, maybe to save on electricity, leaving long customer lines. They value money over shoppers.
Ralphs is part of the Kroger chain, and I believe from having to use such low morality standards that each one could be in financial trouble. I also noticed second-hand products when buying at Ralphs - product not quite right, that should have been tossed out on the assembly line. Ralphs could and should be better. Regulators should investigate.
Consumers should launch these investigations, too. Do your diligence if/when shopping at Ralphs or Krogers - they have gone rogue!

MY child was Racially attact by Ralphs employee, on 12/27 in slurs from a meat coutner employee
it was 7;23 p.m. in granada hills store. Bad meat dept employee was wearing glasses, very thin male who was mean as my child past by as I watched the meat man call out to a simple child just passing and not doing anything other than walking by with our family as we all over heard him saying a slur and telling the child your a sertain color and your blank in slurs..
Preferred solution: him fired along with who ever else was with him at 7:23 p.m. in meat dept as he was talking to a friend while he looked at the child to " directly " pitch his words direct eye contact to the child

I am not nor have I ever been a customer of Ralphs but get emails daily for your market. Have already talked to someone at your corporate office who assured me she would look into but that was three months ago.
