The Cashier’s name is Jackie E. And Supervisor's name is Wendy Madison

The incident took place on Sunday October 19, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Ralph’s grocery store at 3827 Culver Center, Culver City, CA 90232.

Summary:

1-The cashier gave me and my husband a nasty rude racist attitude, yelled at us and humiliated us infront of our kid and other employees and customers.

2-She reused a wic approved item (spinach bag with a wic approved label).

3-She refused to give me back my wic checks and left her place on the cashier machine keeping my checks with her.

4-She threw out my husband’s keys and some of our groceries.

5-She threatened me and my husband.

6-The supervisor ignored me and my husband and didn’t try to listen from us or solve the problem.

Details:

It was me, my husband and my kid. At the beginning the cashier (Jacie E.) Was acting normal..I wouldnt say she was friendly or even nice as she she should definitely be as a customer service representative! but she was giving me that poker face when I was unpacking my grocery until I informed her I would be using using WIC checks..although I informed her that am having other groceries I would pay for as well, she turned to a nasty angry rude woman..she started giving us an attitude throwing away a couple of stuff from our groceries and started yelling at me saying that she doesn’t THINK I can get these items with WIC voucher …without even checking if she is right about what she THINKS or not which means she is not doing her job properly…Although I was quite sure I checked those items which got WIC approved label ..I reacted so nice and calm and didn’t want her to wait till we go back and double check on the item or exchange it..so i told her ok forget about those stuff and lets continue with the rest..(During that time she was very nervously slapping on the cashier machine)..Then suddenly she asked for our Ralphs card..so my husband handled it to her..She used it then threw it away on the cashier rack violently..This is when my husband asked her nicely why you just threw my keys..She said (while she was slapping on our grocery very hard) cause am goanna use this card again..OK (again with attitude)..so my husband told her ok please chill and calm down you shouldn’t treat us this way..She started yelling at him saying I know how am talking you shouldn’t tell me how I should talk..He told her you are giving us an attitude so am asking you to chill..she started yelling at him again again and said you better chill..You are not gonna take me there..believe me you don’t wanna take me there (she repeated this sentence hysterically for more than ten times) she was saying that and looking at us in a way I felt threatened and I didnt want her to insult us more infront of my kid, other customers and employees..so I told her ok please give me back my checks I won’t get anything from here..she refused to give me the checks and said no I won’t give it to

you and just left the cashier machine keeping my checks with her..At this moment, I asked the bagger “where is the store manager”..then the cashier (Jackie E.) came back with the supervisor (Wendy Madison) who surprisingly didn’t try to hear anything from us and she didn’t even looked at us and just started to ring my stuff..this is when I felt very humiliated and asked them again to give me back my checks cause am not gonna get anything from that place and I told them that am gonna report them both and asked for their names..The supervisor tried to hide her badge and didn’t want to tell me her full name..But I managed to read it and the cashier yelled at me saying my name is Jackie.. Keep it on your mind!

The cashier treated me terrible in front of my kid and other customers. I’m not gonna allow anyone to make me feel bad about something I qualify for...I'm being discriminated against because I use WIC... there is no EXCUSE for them being rude or anything else but helpful....They are paid to take care of the customers not judge them and treat them like ***..Rude judgmental cashiers like that will lose you business; using A bad cashier makes the company look bad. If nothing isn’t done with these employees..I will file a complaint about you everywhere possible and I will call my WIC office and let them know that you I was given issues when purchasing my items from your store...since I moved to Los Angeles from New York, I do all of my shopping at Ralph’..I would not do business with you ever again if something wasn't done!

Par for the course. They were rude to me in 3 stores for no reason at all. I have a witness and will discontinue goi going to there *** stores.
